This is the top question asked by people about hair growth. How fast does hair grow in a week? or How fast does hair grow on average? Well there is a certain answer but I am not sure if this is proven scientifically so far. Ready?
The average person’s hair grows about 1/2 of an inch per month. You can find this information pretty mush on any hair related sites, but this is very broad. If you break this down it means that the average person’s hair will grow approximately 3/26 of an inch each week. Many people, of course, vary from this average to one person to another all depending on hair care of the person.
The vast majority of the population, however, have hair that grows within 1/10 of an inch of the average per week. In other words, it’s very likely that your hair will grow between roughly 0.01 inches and 0.2 inches on average per week.
